    Ordering & Quotes

How do I get a quote for my 3D print?

Click 'Get Instant Quote' and upload your 3D file (.stl, .obj, .stp, or .step). Choose material, colour, surface quality, and turnaround speed. The tool calculates pricing instantly — no waiting.

How much does 3D printing cost?

Pricing depends on material, part size, surface quality, infill (part strength), and turnaround speed. Upload your file to our instant quote tool to see an exact price in seconds. No minimum order.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No. We accept single parts. No minimum quantity, no minimum spend.

What file formats do you accept?

.stl, .obj, .stp, and .step up to 150MB. For larger files, email us a Google Drive or WeTransfer link.

Can you design the 3D file for me?

Yes. We offer CAD design, digital sculpting, and 3D scanning. Visit our Design & CAD Service page or contact us to discuss your project.

    3D Printing Service

How long does 3D printing take?

Standard: 2–5 business days. Average across all orders is 48 hours. Express (1–2 days) and Next Day (under 24 hours) are available.

What is the maximum size you can print?

Standard: up to 1 metre in any direction (1,000 × 1,000 × 1,000mm). Large format: up to 2.5 metres. We can also split and assemble multi-piece builds for even larger projects.

What is the difference between PLA and PETG?

PLA is most economical — great for visual models and display. PETG is tougher, chemical-resistant, and better for functional parts and outdoor use.

Which material is best for outdoor use?

ASA — UV-resistant and weatherproof. Use our Material Selector to confirm the best fit.

Can you print in carbon fibre, bronze, or metal?

Yes. We print PA-CF (carbon fibre nylon) and PETG-CF (carbon fibre PETG), both in black. Through our Fabrication service we also offer solid bronze and glass casting from 3D printed patterns.

Can I pick up my print, or do you ship?

Pickup is free from our Sydney Print Lab by appointment only. Wait for your ready-for-pickup email, then book an available time using its booking link. Bring your order confirmation and photo ID. We also ship Australia-wide via tracked courier, professionally packaged.

    Printer Repair & Servicing

How much does a repair cost?

Triage Service: $165 per printer (diagnostics + first-hour repairs included). Additional repairs are quoted based on parts and labour.

    What is the Triage Service?

A fixed-price diagnostic and first-hour repair session. We inspect the printer, diagnose all issues, and attempt a repair within the first hour. If the issue is fixed in that time, there's no extra charge.

What happens if my printer isn't fixed in the first hour?

If the issue requires more work or parts, we'll provide a clear repair quote before proceeding. No hidden costs — just transparent, upfront pricing.

How long does a repair take?

Many repairs are completed within the first session. If additional work is required, most repairs are completed within 1–3 business days.

Do you offer on-site or mail-in repairs?

Yes. Drop-off is free at our Sydney service centre, mail-in is available Australia-wide, and on-site service covers NSW and ACT. Book the repair form first, then choose your method.

Which printer brands do you service?

All FDM 3D printers — Bambu Lab, Prusa, Creality, Ultimaker, FlashForge, Raise3D, Anycubic, Voron and many more, from consumer to industrial. We're one of the most experienced Bambu Lab repair centres in Australia.

    Warranty & Care

What warranty comes with a printer?

Every new printer we sell includes our 12-Month Warranty: defects in materials or workmanship are repaired or replaced at no charge, parts and labour included, at our Sydney service centre. It is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

    What is a Care Plan?

Prepaid servicing for one printer. Annual Care ($299 a year) includes 1 Recalibration Service and 1 Repair Credit; Biannual Care ($449 a year) includes 2 services and 1 Repair Credit. The Repair Credit is diagnosis and up to 2 hours of labour on one workshop job, back to base. Parts, freight and callouts are charged separately.

Can I buy a Care Plan for a printer I already own?

Yes. Any printer of a make and model we service qualifies, bought from us or not, at any time. If we haven't serviced it in the last 12 months, the first service is also an entry check, and faults it finds are quoted before any work.

What does a covered repair cost?

Nothing for parts, diagnosis or labour. We return the printer at our cost and reimburse your reasonable freight to us. If no covered fault is found, a $165 assessment fee applies and freight is yours. We tell you this before you send the printer.

    What isn't covered?

Consumables such as the complete hotend, build plates, PTFE tubes and filters (the full list is Schedule 1 of the 12-Month Warranty Terms), normal wear and tear, damage from drops, liquid or power surges, faults caused by non-genuine parts or modifications, and cosmetic damage. Your Australian Consumer Law rights still apply.

    Training

    What training do you offer?

Beginner Workshops (first-time operators), Advanced Operator sessions (calibration, multi-material, troubleshooting), and Institutional / on-site programs tailored to your hardware and workflow. Book online via our training page.

What's provided at a training session?

We supply printers, filament, slicer access, and all consumables. Bring a laptop if you want to take your work-in-progress slicer profiles home.

    Can I reschedule?

Yes — up to 48 hours before the session at no charge. Inside 48 hours, we ask for 50% to cover prepared materials.

    Do you offer group discounts?

Yes. Three or more attendees from the same organisation receive 15% off Beginner and Advanced sessions.

    Sustainability & Recycling

Can I recycle my 3D printed parts with you?

Yes. Parts printed in our PLA, rPLA, PETG, or rPETG (unpainted, uncontaminated) can be returned for free recycling. No other Australian 3D printing service offers this.

    Do you sell recycled filament?

Yes. We produce rPLA and rPETG and run an ECO spool refill system to cut waste. See our Sustainability hub for the full recycling ecosystem.
