In the eligible programme records
Historical bag tare was not consistently recorded, so the weight may include bags. This is the eligible recorded collection weight; net material recovered and finished-filament output were not measured in these records.
01 / Process
How it works
STEP 01
Collect
Customers fill recycle bags with clean print waste and ship them back at our cost.
STEP 02
Sort
Bags are inspected and separated by polymer type. Contaminated batches are rejected to preserve quality.
STEP 03
Shred
Approved material is shredded to a uniform flake size — the input feedstock for new filament.
STEP 04
Remake
Flakes are dried, extruded, and respooled as Eco-spool recycled filament available back on the store.
02 / Inputs

04 / FAQ
Common questions
Where does the recycled material go?
Back into our Eco-spool product line. Customers can buy filament made from material they (or other customers) returned.
Can I recycle other plastics?
Only 3D printing waste right now — packaging plastics and household items can't be processed in our line.
Is there a pickup service?
Sydney metro pickups are available for active accounts shipping more than 20 kg per month. Outside that, prepaid return shipping covers it.
