NYLON FAMILY

    PA12

    Engineering

Engineering-grade nylon with the lowest moisture absorption of any nylon polymer, excellent chemical resistance, and high impact strength. The most processable nylon for FDM printing.

    PA12 3D printing filament

    WHY USE PA12

PA12 absorbs under 0.5% moisture — the lowest of any nylon — so it stays dimensionally stable, prints more reliably, and requires less drying than PA6. It resists oils, greases, fuels, salt water, and most solvents, with a heat deflection temperature above 130°C at 0.45 MPa. The result is an engineering-grade material that's tough enough for end-use parts but forgiving enough to process on a well-equipped desktop printer.

Snap-fit housings, automotive clips and brackets, chemical-resistant enclosures, gears, bearings, and any functional part requiring toughness, flexibility, and dimensional stability in demanding environments.
