Ready for serious printing
Open. Print. Keep it dry.
Dry filament gives precision printing a better starting point. Ours comes protected by an aluminium-foil laminate bag and 15 g of silica gel.
Keep the bag. Resealed with its desiccant, it is your storage between prints; you do not need a separate dry box just to put the filament away.
Start from an intact seal
No initial drying is needed from an intact, sealed bag. If the packaging arrives damaged, contact us before a critical print.
Reseal between prints
Return the filament and desiccant to the bag. Check for punctures, close the zip fully, and maintain or replace the desiccant as instructed.
After time in open air
Storage keeps dry filament protected; it does not prove absorbed moisture has been removed. Follow the material's drying guidance when needed. Moisture-sensitive materials may need protected feeding during printing.
Check the drying procedure
Does vacuum sealing dry filament?
Vacuum packing removes air around the filament. It does not show whether absorbed moisture was removed from the polymer before packing.
Colour reference
Choose the colour for your work.
Catalogue colours, not live stock. Screen swatches and HEX are approximate; confirm a physical sample for colour-critical work. Reference codes do not guarantee a printed match. Recycled shades can vary by batch, so order a project's quantity together.
